There’s no denying it, the party season used to fill me with dread every year. Having had vitiligo for over 20 years now, I would find it incredibly stressful trying to find an outfit with sleeves to cover depigmented patches on my arms and I’d always have to wear tights to cover up the vitiligo on my legs. I’d always wear something that covered me up, rather than wear something that suited me or that I actually wanted to wear.
